Delete your data
In short: there are no accounts with us — NoirPanther talks directly to your servers. To delete what we already have, send us the identifier of your installation; to stop new data reaching us, then turn it off in the app’s settings.
What we may have
- Usage statistics — events from the app with a random identifier of your installation, while statistics are on. Counters without an identifier cannot be linked to you.
- Crash reports — with your IP address and, while statistics are on, the identifier of your installation.
- Messages you send to support.
Your books, your library and your sign-in details stay between the app and your servers. We never receive them and cannot delete them — ask whoever runs the server.
How to request deletion
- Delete what we have. While statistics are on, tap the “Version” row in the app’s settings — this copies the identifier of your installation. Send it to support@noirpanther.cc or through the support form and ask us to delete your data. We reply within one month. Without the identifier we cannot find your statistics.
- Stop new data. Then, in the app’s settings, turn off statistics, counters without an identifier and crash reports. Turning statistics off erases the identifier of your installation — copy it first.
- Data on your device. Removing the app deletes the data it keeps on the device: downloaded books, settings and cached data. Sign-in details and keys that the operating system keeps in its secure storage — the keychain on Apple devices — may remain on the device until it is erased; other apps cannot read them.
What is deleted and what is kept
- We delete the statistics and crash reports linked to your identifier.
- Copies in backups disappear when the backups expire — within five weeks.
- Server logs are kept for up to 30 days; messages you send to support — for as long as needed to handle your request, and no longer than two years.
- Purchases are kept by Apple and Google under their own rules. For data held by advertising companies, use their controls and the consent settings in the app.
How long we keep data
Statistics — up to 13 months; crash reports — up to 90 days; server logs — up to 30 days; backups — up to five weeks. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
